TO MINIMIZE DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, LOSS OF LIFE, AND INCREASE PUBLIC EDUCATION WITHIN THE TOWN OF CHAPMANVILLE AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO OUR NEIGHBORING DEPARTMENTS AND OTHER AGENCIES TO PROTECT CITIZENS IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS. WE WILL ACHIEVE THIS MISSION THROUGH INNOVATIVE/PROGRESSIVE TRAINING AND EDUCATION, UTILIZING STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT, PROGRESSIVE TECHNIQUES, AND AVAILABLE TECHNOLOGY TO PROVIDE A HIGH LEVEL OF COST EFFICIENT, QUALITY SERVICES.

When it comes to the specialty teams of the Chapmanville Fire Department, you've got some impressive ones. Let's start with the Swift Water team. This team specializes in handling emergencies involving water, such as floods or water rescues. They have the skills and equipment necessary to navigate swift currents and save lives in challenging water-related situations.

Next up is the Rope Rescue team. These experts are trained in performing rescues in vertical or high-angle environments. They use specialized techniques and equipment to safely reach and extract individuals who may be stuck or injured in difficult-to-reach locations, such as cliffs or tall buildings.
